Storytelling

For my whole life I have been immersed in stories. As a psychotherapist I have listened and worked with peoples’ stories for over four decades. I have researched stories through my doctorate and now continue to explore story through the oral tradition of storytelling.

I run a monthly womens’ group, with a colleague, where we tell stories around the fire and explore their impact on our own lives.

I also run a storytelling workshop, with Giles Barrow, in Suffolk called Spinning Yarns. It has been running for two years and we are delighted to announce a new storytelling programme for 2026:

Spinning Yarns 2026

Dates 13 – 15 March, 8 – 10 May, 17 – 19 July, 23 – 26 Oct

It will be held across four workshops spanning the year. We invite you to jump aboard for the full series to dig deep and let the stories have their way.
